Belle Property launches new training program

Belle Property have launched a new training platform that they say takes a strategic and focused approach to career pathways across all facets of the business – sales, property management and administration.

“In an ever-changing marketplace, it is paramount to have an agile learning environment that provides all employees with the tools and support that they need to succeed, no matter what level or area of the business they’re in,” said Peter Hanscomb, CEO of Belle Property.

Acknowledging that one size does not fit all, Nick Boyd, Head of Sales and Business Development for Belle Property, adapted the principles of evidence-based learning to create the new Belle Property learning program, Academy Advantage.

The group says that through their in-depth research, it became apparent that there are three defined streams of performance that sales agents move between – Pursue, Attract and Thrive.

“Pursue is all about what we do on the ground, how we actually go out and hunt for our next opportunity. As we get wins on the board we start to transform ourselves into the Attract agent, where business is starting to come to us and it becomes about how we maintain that momentum with strategy and leverage,” said Mr Boyd.

“The pinnacle is called Thrive. That is when you are at the top of your game, where there is immense opportunities and challenges when you are running teams around you.”

Mr Boyd designed the training program to address the different career stages that sales agents operate within, as well as role-based training for property management and administrative roles.

“Developing our people is critical to staying ahead in this industry,” says Mr Boyd. “We have listened to what our network needs and we have invested in delivering a more tailored and strategic approach to all our employees’ development and training.”

Mr Boyd continues, “Sales agents have the opportunity to be in the classroom with like-minded individuals who are facing the same challenges. It is about working together so that we can all move forward and succeed together.”

The group claims that the Academy Advantage courses have been tailored in such a way that they can easily be modified to suit changes within the industry and property markets.
