Amy Schumer lists ‘garden in the sky’ penthouse

Comedian and actress Amy Schumer is selling her beloved Upper West Side penthouse that she shares with her husband, chef Chris Fischer and their three-year-old son.

According to The Dirt, the Trainwreck star is asking US$15 million for the five-bedroom, six-bathroom, 418sq m, full-floor penthouse, which also includes a roof terrace.

Schumer paid US$12.5 million for the property in 2016 but said she and her husband were now looking to move to Brooklyn to be closer to her son’s school.

The official listing refers to the unit as a “garden in the sky”.

Not only are the rooms filled with greenery, the property boasts large garden terraces that are brimming with plants.

The top floor location also offers 360-degree views across the Hudson River, the George Washington Bridge, and much of Manhattan.

Inside the vast living area, there’s a custom stone and glass gas fireplace, 3m-high bi-fold glass doors can be opened up for fresh air, and angled skylights douse the space with natural light.

There’s a closet fit for a Hollywood star, while all four guest bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and two of them have direct access to the terrace.

Also included is a deeded parking spot in the building’s on-site garage, as well as a large storage area, a full-time doorman, a bike room, and a live-in superintendent.
