Lily Allen’s townhouse hits market amid separation

Lily Allen and David Harbour's maximalist Brooklyn brownstone has been listed for $7.995 million (AUD $12.1 million), marking the end of their marriage which Allen recently confirmed through her new album "West End Girl."

According to Wallpaper.com, the four-storey Carroll Gardens townhouse, purchased in 2021 for $3.35 million (AUD $5.1 million), underwent an extensive renovation led by renowned designer Billy Cotton and architect Ben Bischoff of MADE.

The property now boasts a blend of traditional English charm and bold maximalist design elements.

According to Zillow, the 22-foot-wide brownstone features a living room adorned with intricate Zuber wallpaper and a grand fireplace.

Glass doors open to a garden complete with sauna and cold plunge pool.

The property features prominently in Allen’s new album, specifically in the title track “West End Girl,” where she sings: “So we went ahead and we bought it / Found ourselves a good mortgage / Billy Cotton got sorted / All the furniture ordered / I could never afford this / You were pushing it forward / Made me feel a bit awkward.”

The listing comes shortly after Allen confirmed their separation.
