Two state records set in just a matter of days in August topped the list of Victoria’s most expensive home sales this year.
Marshall White Stonnington Director Marcus Chiminello sold both of the Toorak properties, which left other sales in their wake.

This property made big headlines when it sold for a state record of $80,000,088 in an off-market deal in August.
The selling agent was Marcus Chiminello of Marshall White, who had approached the owner of the property multiple times in recent years as he had buyers for the home.
The eventual buyer was crypto king Ed Craven, who had made his fortune on a crypto gambling platform, and planned to demolished the unfinished mansion and build a new home.

Blair House, a landmark estate in Toorak, held the record as Victoriaโs most expensive home for just a number of days before it was surpassed by a property just down the road.
Marcus Chiminello was also the selling agent for this Georgian Revival residence, which was designed in 1936 by architects Hughes and Orme.
Set on 7800sq m of oasis-like grounds, Blair House features included oak floors, timber panelling, Georgian windows and arches.
A grand reception room, gorgeous drawing room with a fireplace, an inviting sitting room and a garden room with north-facing views of the hedge-screened gardens outside were also on offer.
Upstairs are three double bedrooms with ensuites and robes, four other bedrooms, a fourth bathroom, two dressing rooms, a library, a study and a retreat.
Other features include separate two-three bedroom guest accommodation in converted double-storey stables and a lawn tennis court.
