Tinder co-founder lists Sunset Strip mansion for $32 million

Co-Founder of Tinder, Sean Rad, and his wife Lizzie Grover are putting their luxurious mansion above the Sunset Strip up for sale at a staggering price of $32 million.

The couple, who recently settled into their new Bel Air home, decided to part ways with their current residence, which they purchased in the summer of 2018 for $24 million.

Originally built in the 1930s, the mansion underwent a complete rebuild and expansion under the supervision of powerbroker Kurt Rappaport before Rad and Grover acquired it, according to Dirt.com.

Situated in the West Hollywood foothills, the property received additional renovations by the couple and designer Jane Hallworth, earning it a feature in Architectural Digest.

Spanning over 984sq m, the contemporary home boasts five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and an array of lavish features.

With high ceilings, designer light fixtures, and exquisite marble finishes, the living space offers a seamless indoor-outdoor experience through towering glass bi-folding doors.

Nestled behind walls and gates on a nearly half-acre parcel bordered by tall hedges, the three-storey mansion exudes privacy.

The main level welcomes guests with a double-height living room and formal dining room that lead to the outdoors through glass doors.

The sleek eat-in kitchen, adorned with marble and bronze finishes, opens to a spacious courtyard.

Additionally, the home includes two office spaces, one featuring French oak wood accents, while the other boasts a disco ball.

Among the property’s highlights is a lower level equipped with a movie theatre, wine cellar, and a stylish wet bar featuring illuminated shelving.

The luxurious upstairs master retreat features a fireplace, private balcony, dressing room, and a stunning marble bath with Waterworks fixtures.

The bath includes a soaking tub crafted from a single slab of stone and a steam shower with a built-in chaise lounge.

Outside, the backyard offers a covered patio, perfect for outdoor lounging and entertaining, complete with a fireplace. Adjacent to a lush grassy lawn is a lengthy swimming pool.

The listing, held by Aaron Kirman of AKG | Christie’s International Real Estate, also mentions a three-car garage.
