Jennifer Lopez lists her Bel Air mansion for $42 Million

Popstar and actress Jennifer Lopez is officially looking to offload her sprawling Bel Air estate for a staggering US$42.5 million and purchase a new marital home with husband Ben Affleck.

According to The Dirt, Lopez is primed to pocket US$14.5 million if she achieves her asking price, having picked up the property back in 2016 from actress Sela Ward.

The secluded property sits on roughly eight acres of land and is just minutes away from the famous Bel Air Hotel.

In total the property boasts nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms across 1190sq m and includes a long list of amenities such as a gym, a 100-seat amphitheatre, a guest cottage, a putting green, an infinity-edge pool and spa and a private lake with its own beach.

Inside, the home has a double-height living room with its own fireplace, a wet bar, a formal dining room, a wood-panelled library and a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast nook.

There’s also another movie theatre on the lower level, along with a large family/game room, while upstairs there’s the master bedroom wing with its own fireplace and dressing room as well as a library/sitting room.

Reportedly, Lopez and her husband actor Ben Affleck were going to renovate the mansion and make it their marital home, before deciding on renting in Beverly Hills and finding something to buy together.

The famous duo already own a New York City penthouse, a mansion in the Hamptons and a small cottage in LA as well as an 87-acre Georgia estate that’s currently on the market for US$8.9 million.

Affleck listed his Pacific Palisades bachelor pad last year with an asking price of US$29.999 million.
