Suite of new appointments for BresicWhitney

Chief Executive Officer Thomas McGlynn said the group’s dedication to designing and delivering fulfilling and rewarding career paths attracts passionate and value-driven talent to the brand.

The Announcement:

In an increasingly competitive talent market, BresicWhitney welcomes five new team members in June.

Leading Sydney property group BresicWhitney has hired Amy Walls as its new Editorial and Media Manager, marking its 19th appointment since the start of 2022.

Amy has 10 years’ experience spanning journalism, content and communications. She will be based at the BresicWhitney Darlinghurst office, working closely with Chief Executive Officer Thomas McGlynn, Chief Operating Officer Will Gosse and other key stakeholders across sales, leasing and property management.

Amy will be focused on creating editorial opportunities for the agency’s properties, people and brand.

BresicWhitney believes a role of this scope is unique to the Sydney residential real estate landscape, given its remit to not only showcase transactional success, but to champion its talented, value-driven people, the agency’s point of difference and vision for the future.

Amy’s appointment is one of 19 since the start of 2022 for BresicWhitney, including Lucy Domingue in Talent Acquisition, who returns to the agency after living overseas and welcoming two children, and Alexander Babukhin as Sales Associate to Shannan Whitney.

Alexander has had an esteemed career in New Zealand with one of Auckland’s leading residential real estate businesses. Alexander said, “I had always liked what the BresicWhitney brand represents, but it was my connection with Shannan that informed my decision to move to Sydney. His calm and open leadership style and the strong values that BresicWhitney stands for have made this a very exciting move for me.

I look forward to learning more about the Inner Sydney market and helping deliver for our clients.”

BresicWhitney has also promoted key photographer Aimee Crouch into a leadership position as Head Photographer. Aimee has been with BresicWhitney for over 10 years. Pleasingly, Aimee is one of many staff with tenure that exceeds a decade, which CEO Thomas McGlynn believes reflects the group’s dedication to designing and delivering fulfilling and rewarding career pathways.

“Competition for talent is at an all-time high,” he said.

“To continue delivering on and redefining what the best possible real estate experience looks like for our clients, we need to continue attracting the best possible people, who are as passionate as they are value-driven.

“We have great ambitions for our people, not only in terms of performance, but in terms of being able to help them achieve what ‘success’ looks like for them. We are proud to nurture their individual and unique pathways through development, learning, reflection, flexibility and recognition.”
