Static LED displays light up real estate agents’ bottom line

Australia’s real estate agents – whether in busy city locations or more relaxed regional settlements – are finding that backlit window displays that present their properties and services in the most appealing light are not only enhancing customer relations but increasing revenue and profitability.

One such agent is Sydney’s Perry English, while some 4,000km away in the WA resort town of Dunsborough in the state’s south-west, agent Michael Mort tells a similar story.

For Mr English, the Managing Director and Licensee of LJ Hooker in the Sydney suburb of Rhodes, it all started some three years ago when he was introduced to the LED backlit window display solutions on offer from VitrineMedia Australia – and now he’s even contemplating a move to larger premises.

“We’re actually located in a commercial terrace, with the shopfront set back from the footpath, and knew we needed to do something to get people to look beyond the front wall and into the premises,” he explained.

“And that’s precisely what the 12 VitrineMedia LED screens have done. They’ve transformed the business, making us more visible and the premises more inviting, and the increased foot traffic is being felt in a vastly improved bottom line.

“Indeed, we might well need to find new, larger premises to accommodate our growth.”

For JMW Real Estate Principal Michael Mort, it was at an REIWA conference in Perth some two years ago that he first came upon the VitrineMedia LED backlit window display solutions.

“We immediately saw the benefits of the LED screens in helping our business to stand out from the crowd,” Mr Mort said.

“We’ve now invested in some 63 VitrineMedia screens across six windows and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Clients and other interested parties tell us the displays have enhanced the shopfront and allow them get a good feel for the properties on offer – at all hours of the day and night and always quickly and easily.”

Commenting on the displays’ reception across the country, VitrineMedia Australia Managing Director Mike Toweel said the need to rise above the clutter in an increasingly competitive – and time-poor – world was driving much of the sales thrust.

“Investment in the user-friendly and affordable VitrineMedia products is helping a growing number of real estate customers to lift their messages and their products and strike an instant chord with buyers and sellers of real estate,” he said.

“This is especially vital in today’s world, where so many messages are fighting for our attention and businesses are searching for novel and cost-effective ways to separate and distance themselves from the competition.

“Our clients across the country are telling us that our solutions allow them to flaunt what they’ve got…and that’s why many of them are turning to VitrineMedia to, quite literally, put their names up in lights.”
