There’s no doubt Sydney has some of the most luxurious homes in the world and some of the top sales this year didn’t disappoint.

From prime water frontage to pristine harbour views, three of the top sales in 2022 featured homes of envy.

Price: $62.75 million

This stunning Vaucluse trophy home boasts everything you could wish for including a cinema, two swimming pools, seven bedrooms and three kitchens.

Owned by prominent corporate lawyer John Landerer and his wife Michelle, according to CoreLogic records the property hit the market back in June 2019, but took until February this year to sell.

The sprawling 2400sq m home in prestigious Vaucluse is spread across multiple levels and features two internal lifts as well as a 20-car garage.

While the property isn’t absolute waterfront, it does have Sydney Harbour, Bridge and Opera House views.

Price: $60 million

Set on 2396sq m of land, according to the Daily Mail, the trophy home was owned by AOC Committee member and 2020 Offshore Sailor of the Year Matt Allen AM.
