Six trailblazing property technology companies have been named as finalists for Top of the Props 2026, capturing a line-up laser-focused on solving the property sector’s most pressing workflow challenges.
From modernising leasing and recruitment to streamlining agency operations, buyer due diligence, holiday park bookings, and the residential homebuilding journey, this year’s cohort represents the next wave of property economy innovation.
The finalists will face off in a live pitch battle on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, at Lefty’s Music Hall in Brisbane, competing for the coveted titles of Top of the Props Judges’ Winner and People’s Choice Award.
Hosted by REACH Australia and New Zealand, Top of the Props has earned a reputation for surfacing emerging PropTech powerhouses.
Previous finalists include the likes of FoundAt, ScaleApp, Agent Profit Planner, Unió, Vennu, SellSmart, and Leesy, underscoring the event’s vital role in launching standout tech across Australia and New Zealand.
Meet the 2026 Finalists
- Crayons CRM (Pitching: Russell Peter, Co-Founder) Built natively by Australian property managers, this CRM couples day-to-day leasing tools with powerful BDM tools designed for aggressive rent roll growth. Their philosophy? Efficient leasing frees up the critical capacity needed to win new managements.
- Dwella (Pitching: Eileen Merriman, Founder) An agentic AI platform designed specifically for residential construction. Dwella empowers mortgage brokers to confidently steer clients through the building journey while creating a seamless, connected ecosystem for buyers, builders, and lenders.
- Homesnoop (Pitching: Tim Cassell, Founder) A specialised due diligence platform built to provide buyers and real estate industry professionals with clearer, deeper information before a transaction takes place.
- ParkBooker (Pitching: Josh Volk, Founder and CEO) A booking platform purpose-built to service the unique needs of holiday parks, caravan parks, cabins, glamping stays, and powered or unpowered sites.
- RealZilla (Pitching: Jonathan Baker, Head of Strategy) A comprehensive real estate operations platform helping agencies gain total workflow visibility while flawlessly managing compliance, documents, and team processes.
- Recruit RE (Pitching: Katie Cotton, Managing Director) A dedicated recruitment platform bridging the gap between property industry talent and employers, allowing jobseekers to vividly showcase their skills.
Judges and expert insights
Returning to the stage as MC for 2026 is Hermione Gardiner, a highly regarded real estate business and mindset coach renowned for helping property management businesses scale, grow, and optimise their operations.
The finalists will pitch their solutions to an independent judging panel featuring Antonia Mercorella, CEO of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) and Founder of Proptech Colab; Cullum Ashton, Founder of PropTech Hub WA and Director of Builderz WA; Ines Hegedus-Garcia, Managing Partner of Avanti Way Realty in Miami, 2023 Chair of Miami REALTORS®, and NAR iOi Innovator of the Year 2024; and Peter Laurie, Founder of Inductive, seasoned entrepreneur in residence for over 20 accelerator programs, and Queensland Pearcey Entrepreneur Award winner.
Peter Schravemade, Managing Partner of REACH Australia and New Zealand, said that this year’s finalists represent a shift toward high-utility, practical tech.
