Savills Project Management QLD have retained their title as Building Consultancy Team of the Year for the sixth year in a row, after taking out the award at the 2018 RICS Oceania Commercial Property Awards.
Led by National Director – Retail, Andrew Hogg, the Savills QLD Project Management team were awarded for their outstanding efforts in managing QICโs Grand Central Redevelopment.
The $500 million redevelopment of the Toowoomba based shopping centre saw the Toowoomba CBD transformed, with the completion of Grand Central enhancing the cityโs image.

The team was appointed to provide full project management and superintendent services in 2013 to lead the team through the design, procurement and delivery phases of the project with Practical Completion of the last Separable Portion being achieved in August 2017.
The Project Management team consisted of six other Savills staff, including Travis McCarthy (Project Director), Amanda Beutel (Senior Project Manager), Simon McKay (Project Manager), Matthew Lockhart (Project Manager), Peter Plunkett (Clerk of Works), and Phoebe Campbell (Assistant Project Manager).

Mr Hogg was further recognised for his excellence in project management, winning Construction Professional of the Year at the RICS awards, with an almost perfect score.
