RE/MAX rebrands finance arm

RE/MAX Australia has ย announced the rebranding of its finance arm and the real estate networkโ€™s position as its sole owner.

Pivotal Financial, formerly Australian Property Finance, will leverage from the growing RE/MAX network and from its new strategic partnership with Connective, Australiaโ€™s leading aggregator.

Matthew Andrews, the recently appointed General Manager of Pivotal Finance, said his division would offer RE/MAX customers a full suite of financial offerings with the value-added position of enjoying the same ownership as RE/MAX Australia.

โ€œThe rebranding of Australian Property Finance brings a new era in full financial service for the RE/MAX network,โ€ he said.

โ€œPivotal Financial is a dynamic, agile and solution-based team of brokers who will continue to assist Australians at a crucial point in realising their financial goals and dreams.

โ€œTogether with RE/MAX, we are creating a selling/buying experience within the real estate industry that is an all-inclusive experience. Accountability is driving our business forward, and agents, brokers and real estate consumers will share the positive outcomes.โ€

RE/MAX Australia Managing Director Michael Davoren said, โ€œThis strategic move brings Pivotal Financial much closer to the RE/MAX organisation, and the greatest beneficiary is the customer dealing with our network.โ€

Mr Andrews said Pivotal Financial was also excited to grow its new relationship with Connective as its aggregator.

โ€œConnective is a dynamic and relatively young aggregator that aggregator that leads industry competitors in innovation, technology and other desirable factors; and a good pairing with Pivotal Financial where we are embracing technology to drive growth and performance.

โ€œAmong other accolades, Connective was the Australian Mortgage Awards Aggregator of the Year 2016 and the Australian Broking Awards Aggregator of the Year in 2015 & 2016,โ€ he said.

RE/MAX Australia established a clear synergy between real estate and finance for the benefit of its customers in 2013.

Mr Andrews, who took up his role in June this year, will lead RE/MAX Australiaโ€™s finance arm into an exciting new era of growth, drawing on skills and experience gained in a highly successful career in financial services spanning over 20 years. Prior to taking up the Pivotal Financial role in June this year, he was State General Manager Broker Distribution for St George bank where his main focus growing a team of business development managers to foster relationships with over 2200 accredited mortgage brokers within Queensland.
