Aussie actress Rebel Wilson has listed her beautifully renovated Sydney waterfront home for $9 million.
According to The Dirt, Wilson purchased the freestanding Victorian home in the inner-west’s Birchgrove for $3.76 million in early 2015 just as her Hollywood career was starting to take off after finding success in Pitch Perfect.
The three-storey property was designed by award-winning architect Paul O’Connor and includes three bedrooms, three spacious marble bathrooms plus a powder room, an elevator, and a gorgeous marble-topped kitchen.
The home offers a north-facing living area overlooking the Parramatta River as well as dual harbour views.
The kitchen features smoked oak cabinetry, a Sub-Zero fridge and Arabesco marble.
The living room includes a Jetmaster gas fireplace and the bathrooms, with all black hardware, sport spacious shower areas and room to lounge.
Outside, there are multiple terraces and balconies with 180-degree views, an infinity edge ozone pool, and on the water level, an outdoor kitchen with room for dining, a pontoon and deepwater mooring.
Wilson let her fans know the property was on the market, posting to her Instagram that she, “Won’t be using it for the next few years because (sic) will be working overseas and would prefer someone else gets to appreciate it.”
The actress has built a tidy property portfolio over her career, including a five-bedroom, five-bathroom estate in West Hollywood she bought in 2016 for US$3 million a US$2.2 million Hollywood Hills hideaway, bought in 2014 and a US$3 million apartment in New York City’s Tribeca neighbourhood.
