@realty move into Tasmania

@realty has launched in Tasmania, giving the company a presence in every state and territory in Australia except the Northern Territory.

The agency has secured licensing to expand into Tasmania, and launched a recruitment drive, enticing agents with its unique model that allows the opportunity to choose where they work, and own 100 per cent of their rent roll.

Headquartered on the Gold Coast, @realty CEO James Taylor says working outside the traditional bricks-and-mortar franchise model delivers benefits for both agents and vendors.

“Our way of operating is totally unique and has not been seen in Australia before. It has proven to be very successful in the five plus years since we established the company, and has led us to the point where we have now moved into this new region and soon into the Northern Territory – giving us a truly national presence,” he said.

“While our agents have the freedom and flexibility to work independently, they still operate under the @realty banner, which means they receive full administrative support from our head office and have access to our innovative property marketing technology.

“To date we have invested more than $2.5 million in custom technology, including our national database, which allows all agents to share listings and work together to sell faster . For vendors it’s effectively like listing a home with 580-plus agents.

“We encourage our agents to work collaboratively by offering up to 93 per cent commission, instead of the industry standard of 45 per cent, which is a win-win for both realtors and vendors.”

@realty’s expansion follows on the back of signing a five-year deal as official coaches’ partner for Gold Coast Suns Football Club, which has given the brand a tremendous boost, Mr Taylor said.
