Ray White’s newest office Berkeley Vale under the leadership of familiar faces

Ray White’s newest office in Berkeley Vale on the NSW Central Coast is under the leadership of two familiar faces.

Principal Ian Boyle is a well-known award-winning local agent with large market share in the area.

His partner Cathy Burnside is a relative newcomer to real estate but a familiar face from TV.

“I have been on All Saints and some kids shows but I get most recognised as the Wonder White mum – I am the one that toasts the piece of bread,” Ms. Burnside said, who opened Ray White Berkeley Vale this week with her partner Ian Boyle.

“I still do a little bit of acting here and there, and I do some coaching of other actors, but I have found a really good place in real estate. I love it and haven’t looked back in 14 months.”

Mr Boyle comes to Ray White with  a very experienced sales and marketing background.

“This area has got beautiful beaches, a great lifestyle and 40 per cent of our buyers are from Sydney, which is only 90 minutes away,” Mr Boyle said.

“People are moving here for the lifestyle and affordability. We are the same familiar faces, now in different colours,” he said.

“We are an experienced team, and very family oriented as we have six children, two dogs and two cats between the three of us in our team.”

Ms Burnside, who moved to Australia from Ireland when she was 18 went to acting school, has worked on many TV shows including the Channel 7 children’s show called In Your Dreams, Deadly Women and All Saints.

She says her acting training helps a lot when it comes to selling real estate.

“Confidence is a huge part of this job and knowing how to market yourself and recognise what your personal brand and strengths are is also crucial in marketing yourself as an actor,” Ms Burnside said.

“I love working with people and helping them unblock their blockages. I did a lot of this with acting coaching so that actors could access their emotions by drawing on past experiences.

“In real estate you’re dealing with a lot of people in a highly stressful turning point in their life, usually they are reluctant to tell an agent why they are considering moving perhaps it’s a divorce, the loss of a loved on, leaving their family home after years of memories, so finding out from them what that block is in taking that next step to sell is crucial and then nurturing them through that process.

“This is what I love about my job. I genuinely want to help people. Vanessa Burcul is a valuable asset to our business as she has five years in the industry and she’s a born and bred local.”

Ray White NSW chairman Stephen Nell welcomed the Berkeley Vale team who have set up in the heart of the Central Coast of NSW.

“Ray White Berkeley Vale will see Ian Boyle as the principal, along with director and sales agent Cathy Burnside plus Vanessa Burcul, as their administrator and property manager.

“We are blessed to have such great and talented people want to join us at Ray White.

“Growth is in the DNA of Ray White and we love to attract such successful people.”
