The Agency has recorded $151.7 million in gross commission income for FY25/26, up from $125.2 million the previous financial year, as its agent network expanded from 442 to 511.
Exchanged gross volume also hit a record for the company, rising from $7.435 billion to $9.017 billion.
But according to Executive Chairman Andrew Jensen, the more telling number sits inside those results: 85 property partners who had been with the company for two years or more – roughly one in four of that group – achieved their strongest year on record.
“What matters most is what is happening within the network,” Andrew said.
“Our agents are growing, they are building stronger business and they are achieving more with us than they have before.”
Andrew said the figures show growth isn’t coming from recruitment alone.
“You can grow agent numbers, but the real test is whether the people who join you become more successful over time,” he said.
“We grew from 442 to 511 agents, but at the same time 85 people already within the business achieved their strongest year on record.
“That tells us the platform is working. It tells us the support, leadership and model are helping good agents become even better.”
A record 43 agents reached Altitude status – The Agency’s highest performance accolade – up from 37 the previous year and more than double the 20 agents who qualified in 2023.
Altitude is reserved for primary sales agents who generate at least $1 million in GCI or complete 76 or more transactions in a financial year. Of this year’s Altitude cohort, 27 also posted a personal-best year.
“For us, Altitude is not simply a list of the highest earners,” Andrew said.
“It represents consistency, discipline and the ability to build a high-performing business over time.”
At the top end of the market, The Agency completed 41 residential sales above $10 million during the year.
The Agency will celebrate the year’s performance at its inaugural National Awards, to be held at The Langham, Gold Coast, in late October.
Alongside financial results, the group will present its National Values Awards, recognising agents who live the company’s values and support those around them.
A winner from each state will be flown to the Gold Coast, with one ultimately named the inaugural national winner.
Andrew said the recognition was designed to reinforce that success at The Agency isn’t measured by results alone.
“Results are important and they always will be, but results are not the only measure of success.
“At The Agency we look at how you treat people. How you respond under pressure, whether you lift the people around you, whether you do what is right, even when it is difficult is what matters.”
Looking ahead, Andrew said the business was staying alert to changing conditions.
“Conditions are shifting, buyer and seller expectations are changing, and the pace of the market is becoming more measured.
“That means we need to keep adapting, stay close to the fundamentals and make sure our agents are equipped to perform in the market in front of them.
“This result gives us momentum and confidence, but it does not make us complacent. What matters now is how quickly we adjust, how consistently we execute and how we build from here.”
