Language is no barrier in multi-cultural Sunshine: Ray White

Ray White Sunshine has just opened in inner west Melbourne with young gun Dee Nguyen at the helm, who is excited to be joining the Ray White family.

Principal Mr Nguyen started in real estate in 2008 and is rebranding to Ray White from a smaller independent agency group, with a team of more than 10 staff across property management and sales. “It’s the same faces in my team, but now backed by a household name as we are joining the largest network,” said the 34-year-old Mr Nguyen.

Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Domenic Belfiore was delighted to welcome Dee Nguyen and his team to the Ray White group.

“Dee is such a go-getter young gun, we are really excited to help Dee lift his business to the next level.” Mr Belfiore said.

Mr Nguyen is a lifetime Melburnian with a rich family history in the west of Melbourne and boasts an extensive knowledge of Melbourne and it’s many attractions and says he chose Ray White after having a taste with a few smaller brands.

“I feel I have a lot of synergies with the Ray White brand. Ray White is investing heavily in technology, which I am a big fan of going forward. And I like the Ray White training and development programs. Ray White is very well known for its training.”

“I am pretty straight up, I don’t like dishonest people and I am hungry and tenacious. I have a great culture in my office that is second to none, and I always make sure that new people are aligned to my culture. We are like a little family here, joining a very big family,” he said.

Mr Nguyen says no matter what language you speak the name Ray White name cuts through all language barriers.

“In Sunshine, there’s a lot of agents that have been here for 20 to 30 years and our population is very multi-cultural with a lot of Europeans and Asians.

“I’m half Chinese, half Vietnamese and born here, so I speak both languages. When I meet someone who speaks either we form a great relationship that is so automatic.

“The Ray White name opens some doors and makes the phone ring. People know the brand and it’s up to us to serve our homeowners well.”
