Ray White Sippy Downs owner opens new office in Nambour

The owner of Ray White Sippy Downs, Michael Stack, has expanded his team and set up an office in the Sunshine Coast town of Nambour.

After months of successful transacting in this area, he decided that opening the premises was an important next step for both his staff and clients.

“We have already built up a wonderful client base in Nambour, and the time has come to invest in a brick and mortar office,” Mr Stack said.

“We have found that having a physical presence is really important for the brand, our staff members, as well as having a more local connection with our potential clients.”

This is the second office for Mr Stack, who has worked in real estate for 15 years – both locally on the Sunshine Coast and in Central Queensland – before coming on as Sales Manager at Ray White Sippy Downs and buying the business in 2017.

Tony Warland, Ray White Queensland CEO, said it was a natural progression for the successful team to expand into Nambour.

“We are thrilled to support Michael and his team with their ambitions,” Mr Warland said.

“The Sippy Downs team have made an outstanding contribution to both Ray White and their local community. Their drive combined with their leadership forms the ideal foundation for a successful second business.”

After growing up in Brisbane and visiting the coast often as a child, Mr Stack knew it was going to be the perfect place to eventually call home.

With four boys under the age of 13, he said that there wasn’t anywhere better to raise a family.

“The lifestyle here is unbeatable, with fantastic beaches, schools, hospitals, roads and other infrastructure; the Sunshine Coast is well and truly becoming a lifestyle destination for not only families of all ages but for major businesses that see the region as the perfect location to expand,” he said.

Nambour – home of the Big Pineapple – has major roads and rail infrastructure that connect it to Brisbane and North Queensland via the Bruce Highway.

A revitalised CBD is making way for new business opportunities and attracting strong interest from key national tenancies. In addition, the local hospital has recently been approved for an $86M refurbishment and the area is becoming well known as an attractive town to young buyers.

“We have found the area to be very diverse in culture, from homes that have remained in the family for generations, to young first home buyer couples looking for something more affordable; the homes here have character and charm, they are affordable and are still attractive, compared to many of the newer estates that have been recently released across the Sunshine Coast,” Mr Stack said.

The Nambour office will be primarily led by Peter Chant, an experienced agent who has worked and been trained under Michael for the past four years in both Nambour and Sippy Downs.

Peter Chant is a third-generation born and bred local in Nambour; he knows the market, the people and he is excited about the future. The office will be occupied by two full-time sales agents, a sales associate, full-time property management team, sales administrator and receptionist.
