Ray White Double Bay has thrown its support behind Sony Foundation, a charity aimed at helping young Australians facing the toughest adversity.
Sony Foundation is the charitable arm of the Sony Group of companies operating in Australia including; Sony Australia, Sony Music Entertainment Australia, Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia and Sony Mobile Communications.
Since its inception in 1998, Sony Foundation has raised more than $29 million for youth-related causes. Ray White Double Bay will now be donating approx $70,000, which is $100 from each sale, along with other fundraising initiatives to proudly align its team of high performing agents and property managers with the charity.
“Sony Foundation’s work raising money to fund support programs for Australia’s unwell and underprivileged young people is nothing short of amazing, and we’re proud to be able to contribute to the great work they do,” said Ray White Double Bay Director, Elliott Placks.
“Sony Foundation’s work covering multiple aspects is something we’re excited to be a part of,” Mr Placks said.
Sony Foundation Australia’s CEO, Sophie Ryan said she was excited to welcome the team from Ray White Double Bay.
“Sony Foundation is thrilled to have a Rainbow Partner in Ray White Double Bay. The generous donation of $100 per house sold will go a long way in supporting young people though our life-changing programs,” she said.
Ray White Double Bay is spearheading the charitable initiative ‘Ray White Double Bay Cares’ with the aim of identifying and reaching out to communities in need.
“True to our cornerstones of family and community, we understand that in order to affect authentic change, it is vital that big and small businesses alike utilise their available resources to benefit those who are less fortunate,” said Mr Placks.
