Prominent Glen Innes real estate agent, Nellie Hayes, has opened the doors at Raine & Horne Glen Innes in the booming New England region.
Ms Hayes, who is born and bred in the New England region has joined Raine & Horne from a background selling exclusively rural property.
Before her real estate career, Ms Hayes was a private property investor. The mother of four also operated a boutique online business marketing children’s merchandise globally for six years. The business was complemented by a bricks and mortar store located in Glen Innes, which enabled Ms Hayes to develop wide-ranging sales and marketing skills and excellent local community contacts.
“I love selling rural properties and will continue to do so. However, Raine & Horne is allowing me to expand into residential sales and property management,” Ms Hayes said.
“Raine & Horne has given me the opportunity to operate across a broad section of the New England region.”
According to Ms Hayes buyers range from tree changers seeking three-hectare lifestyle farms to major corporations in search of 5,000 hectares to meet the mounting global demand for wagyu beef.
“We have plenty of buyers from nearly every state looking to shift their operations to the New England because of the above average rainfall our region enjoys.”
Ms Hayes will lead sales and marketing, while Leisa McMahon is responsible for property and office management.
