Raine & Horne has recruited former general manager, sales, and property management specialist Celeste Kopps as a network manager in NSW.
The Announcement:
Superbrand Raine & Horne has recruited experienced real estate specialist Celeste Kopps as a Network Manager to support its rapidly expanding office network in NSW.
The new Network Manager will be supporting Raine & Horne’s rapidly expanding office networks in the Hunter, Illawarra, St George, Inner West, Northwest and Southwest of Sydney.
Ms Kopps joins Raine & Horne’s Network Management team directly from a busy Western Sydney real estate office where she was the firm’s General Manager of Property Management. Also, a finalist for Women in REB in 2019, Ms Kopps started her real estate career in sales in 2007 and held senior roles in administration and operations with several significant offices in Sydney.
Recent agency experience is a win for Principals
Mr Andrew Brien, CEO of Raine & Horne, said that Ms Kopp’s recruitment is a strategic win as the newest recruit’s all-round real estate expertise and recent agency experience is a significant plus for the brand’s plans in NSW.
“We are always looking for recruits who add to the strength of our existing team. With Celeste, she comes to us with a substantial background in sales, property management and operations, having been a GM of a property management business with a big rent roll until December 2021,” said Mr Brien.
“Celeste has been transactional recently, and for us having this current agency experience in our corporate team is essential.
“Many corporate teams have people who haven’t been in transactional roles for 3, 4, 5 years and longer. Network Managers such as Celeste are a big point of difference for us.”
According to Mr Brien, the recruit’s experience working for three other brands is another plus for Raine & Horne. “I’m delighted by the feedback Celeste has given us is that our technology ecosystem including our exclusive social media marketing platform, Amplify and industry-first digital proposal tool, DigiKit are far superior to the levels of support offered by our competitors.”
Perfect timing for recruitment drive
Mr Brien confirms that Raine & Horne is expanding its Network Management team in Queensland and has plans for additional support for its office group in WA.
“Celeste joins us at a time of significant growth with at least 12 offices joining our Group in Q1 2022 across Australia,” Mr Brien says.
“We have a fantastic pipeline of offices coming on and having a diverse Corporate team to help our new and established offices win more appraisals and listings and augment their profits will keep us ahead of the curve.”
Ms Kopps agrees that her recent experience working in a real estate office provides her with the insights required to support Raine & Horne’s, Principals. “I’ve done recruitment, implemented new systems and managed a rebrand. I understand the processes within an office from start to finish.
“Already, my recent experience running a property management department is resonating with those Principals I’ve met. They want to pick my brains about how I ran a successful PM department.”
Exciting new role
Ms Kopps is excited by the prospect of her new role, which is a natural next step in her career trajectory. “I’m eager for the challenge as I have done everything there is to do in a real estate office, including sales, property management and working alongside Principals. This role is the natural next level for me.”
Working as a general manager has also provided Ms Kopps with valuable insights into what Principals need from a Network Manager.
“When working side by side a Principal, I realised my role was to make their plans and strategies happen. I can now be more proactive and approach Principals with new ideas, products and services that can help them advance their businesses.”
She continued, “I also recognise that Principals like to have tools, services and training solutions presented to them as it reinforces their decision to operate as part of a brand.
“At Raine & Horne, they are always on the front foot with Principals because of the way they have structured their products, services and marketing. Everyone in Corporate has a role and responsibility to help every office even before they acknowledge they need help.”
Although still a recent recruit, Ms Kopps says Raine & Horne’s technology, implementation of new ideas, and having the right people in the right jobs to support Principals sets it apart.
