The Raine & Horne Queensland & Northern Rivers State awards held at the luxurious Jupiter’s Casino attracted 370 of Raine & Horne’s best and brightest, a record for the annual event.
In a major changing of the guard, Jamie Wilmen of Raine & Horne Pottsville/Cabarita Beach was named Raine & Horne’s best sales agent for dollar value and number of sales in 2016.
Raine & Horne Pottsville/Cabarita is led by principal Vanessa Rhodes, who switched her office to Raine & Horne in 2014.
“Over the past 3 years, Vanessa has cultivated a winning sales and property management team, which includes high-flyers such as Jamie,” said Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne.
“Since 2014, we have been the fastest growing network in Queensland and this growth has included the addition of Raine & Horne Pottsville/Cabarita Beach, and for this reason I’m personally delighted with Jamie’s success.”
In 2016, Raine & Horne launched offices in Redcliffe and Banora Point, Springwood, Goodna, Springfield, Ipswich, Mackay, Mackay Beaches, Moranbah, Mermaid Beach, Logan City, North Lakes (under new management), Greenbank, Murwillumbah, Cleveland Sales, Brisbane Central and a commercial office in Mackay.
“I am confident we can maintain our status as the fastest growing network in Queensland, and we have at least five offices committed to joining our group before Easter,” said Mr Raine.
“Apart from office growth, we will be releasing some exciting point of sale materials, which will lead to more sales listings and property managements.”
Other 2016 Raine & Horne Queensland award winners included Lisa Palmer, from Raine & Horne Charters Towers who grabbed the Top Salesperson (Principal) Sales category, while Margaret Vote, Principal of Raine & Horne Wynnum Manly won the dollar value category for principals.
“I was delighted to see hardworking Lisa back on the winner’s podium and her win proves there is life back in the Charters Towers real estate market thanks to the combination of additional mining and ethanol projects, which will deliver plenty of jobs to the region,” said Mr Raine.
In the hotly contested Top Office (Number of Sales) category, Raine & Horne Toowoomba took first place. The team led by Principal Andrew Lynch, was also Raine & Horne’s best Queensland office for dollar value sales. Raine & Horne Toowoomba was also recognised for Property Management Marketing Excellence.
The commercial categories were dominated by Brisbane offices. Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane Northside’s Lawrence Temple was named the Top Commercial Salesperson (Sales Dollar Value). Mr Temple also collected first prize in the Top Commercial Leasing Agent for number of leasing dollar value.
Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane Northside, which is skilfully led by Principal, Trent Bruce won the category for best commercial office based on the dollar value of its sales. It was named Raine & Horne’s Auction Shield Winner for the Brisbane metropolitan area. Fiona Eady from Raine & Horne Commercial North was named the group’s best office support staff member for 2016 and Michael Schafferius won the newly minted category, Commercial – Top Performer – New Talent. Jenny Henshaw won the Top Commercial Property Manager category.
Colin Tucker, from Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane Southside broke through in the Top Commercial Leasing Agent (number of leasing transactions). Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane Southside and affiliate Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane Bayside won the Top Multiple Office Dollar Value category. It also won an award for Office Marketing Excellence, along with Raine & Horne Port Douglas. Meanwhile, Raine & Horne Commercial Beenleigh was named Top Commercial Office for Business Growth (Dollar Value).
