Queensland’s best recognised at excellence awards

The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) has hosted its largest ever Awards for Excellence, celebrating outstanding achievement across the state’s real estate sector.

More than 1,000 industry professionals gathered at The Star Brisbane for the 33rd annual awards ceremony, which recognised excellence across 29 categories.

The event marked a significant milestone for the industry body, showcasing the growing professionalism and achievement within Queensland’s real estate community.

REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella said it was vital to put the spotlight on those who have achieved big things this year.

“The awards season is always an exciting time for us to showcase all the professionals who are pushing the boundaries of excellence and service in our state,” Ms Mercorella said.

“As the state peak body, it’s our chance to cheer on our industry’s highest achievers and give them the recognition they deserve for their dedication throughout the year.”

One of the night’s highlights was the announcement of Tristan Rowland from Stone Real Estate Aspley as Residential Salesperson of the Year.

Ms Mercorella said the exceptional standard of this year’s entries made judging particularly challenging.

“I don’t envy the judges challenging task in determining the winners,” she said.

“All of our finalists are driving our profession forward – they are our stars, our trailblazers.

“Through their exemplary work and commitment to the REIQ values, they are redefining what it means to be a real estate professional in the eyes of the Queensland community.”
