Harcourts announces property styling program ‘Harcourts at Home with Sean & Ella’

New Program features Tasmania’s popular House Rules contestants Sean MacKay and Ella Cuthbert.

Property in Tasmania may have just gotten a little more stylish as Harcourts have joined forces with House Rules 2017 contestants Sean MacKay and Ella Cuthbert in an exclusive collaboration to launch ‘Harcourts at Home with Sean & Ella’. The collaboration includes a property consultation service offered to home sellers and buyers through the Harcourts network.

“Sean and Ella won the hearts of Tasmania, and all of Australia, with their fresh and creative styling during the Channel 7’s House Rules most recent season,” said Harcourts Tasmania CEO Tony Morrison.

Maximising a home’s sales price can be helped by presenting a well-styled property, according to real estate industry research.

“People doing business with Harcourts in Tasmania will have the opportunity to engage with Sean and Ella prior to the house going on the market, and we believe it will be a real point of difference for those properties,” said Mr Morrison.

“Additionally, new owners of properties can benefit from a special Sean & Ella consultation.

The services that Sean and Ella will offer range from guiding sellers in the daunting task of preparing their home for sale, from helping with interior design and style assistance to renovation inspiration and support.

Over the next 12 months, Harcourts will roll out a series of videos “Harcourts at Home with Sean & Ella’ providing styling and renovation tips which they refined during their time on Channel 7’s top-rated show House Rules. The series will be posted and shared on Harcourts Tasmania’s Facebook page.

The couple, who are engaged, famously shared the journey of their own home’s renovation through the House Rules season. Located on Hobart’s Eastern Shore with sweeping views of Howrah, to the Derwent River and Mt Wellington, their home had not been renovated since it was built in the 1960s. It now boasts an open floorplan with a contemporary lounge, a chic kitchen and a large deck to take in the priceless views.
