Nominations for the Property Council’s industry committees are now open.
“Effective advocacy for our industry and its contribution to Australia has never been more important,” said Property Council of Australia Chief Executive Ken Morrison.
“Our members are critical in this important work, including through participation in our various industry committees. Our committee members help to shape the future for our industry through advocacy on policy and legislation, research, professional development, and member events.
“Being part of a committee is also a great way to strengthen industry networks and expertise.”
The Property Council will again commit to its 40:40:20 scheme, which calls for at least 40 per cent women, 40 per cent men, with 20 per cent discretionary to represent across all committees.
Nominations for Property Council committees are for a two-year term, commencing January 2021.
Nominations will close on Wednesday, 23 September, 2020 at 7pm AEST, with nominees advised of the outcome in mid-to-late December.
