Perth’s property management sector is set to celebrate its success, with an industry-specific conference scheduled for June.
The PM Collective Summit 2021 is set to kick off on June 11, and is being organised by industry veteran Ashleigh Goodchild, who has assembled an impressive line-up of guest speakers.
PM Collective was founded by Ms Goodchild in early 2020 after she realised that there was a need to improve the industry from within through “collaboration not competition”.
Through a series of podcasts, coffee catch-ups with casual learning, monthly wine dinners, and now an annual summit, Ms Goodchild said the social platform had become hugely popular in a relatively short space of time.
We have plans to have the platform represented in every state in Australia and we’ve already been in dicussions about extending the program to New Zealand,” Ms Goodchild said.
The PM Collective Summit 2021 has been personalised for nurturing each and every property manager and their individual careers.
Ms Goodchild noted property managers have endured such a stressful 12 months and this was great way for bosses to reward their property management teams with a day full of celebrity speakers, such as Jet Xavier, Bec Clow, Jo Saunders, Carmen Braidwood, and Mark O’Hare.
Topics to be covered will include managing anxiety and mental health, being confident on camera, rent-roll coaching and LinkedIn training.
“These are much-needed skills and these industry professionals will be giving the audience good, practical training they can take back to the office and also their personal lives,” Ms Goodchild said.
“We want to give property managers the tools to be more confident in their jobs, learn how to manage the day-to-day struggles in personal and work life, and bring back the fun and enjoyment to our careers.
The PM Collective Summit takes place at Frasers, King Park, on Friday, June 11 from 8.45am. To find out more about PM Collective events visit their Facebook page and visit the event page to secure a ticket.
