Nick Cole, the youngest son of agent Lucy Cole who founded the renowned prestige property agency that bears her name, is launching his own boutique agency, Cole Residential, on the Gold Coast.
Cole Residential will focus on a broader market segment, ensuring the Cole name has the entire Gold Coast real estate market covered.
Since joining the family business nine years ago, Nick has quickly become one of the top-selling agents within the agency and across Australia, and he has broken several Gold Coast sales records.
Mr Cole says that while awards and records are wonderful accolades, the true testimony of his work is his clients’ satisfaction. Whether the property is a luxury home, a multi-million dollar development or a simple modest dwelling, Mr Cole’s approach is always firmly focused on the client experience.
“It’s all about relationships,” Mr Cole says.
“Whether my client is a buyer or seller, that relationship needs to be built on trust. I need to listen to what they want to achieve, then apply my knowledge and skill to help them do that. But the focus always has to be on the client.”
His absolute dedication to client service is one of the many things Mr Cole says he learned from his mother.
“My mother is an incredible salesperson and has built one of the most successful agencies on the Gold Coast,” he says.
“Working alongside her has been an incredible experience. Personally, it has been a real pleasure to work so closely with Mum. Professionally, there could be no better training for an agent. The things that my mother has taught me – integrity, honesty and work ethic – are the foundations I have built my career on.”
Mr Cole says that in launching Cole Residential he intends to combine these old-school values with a contemporary approach that embraces technology and innovation, to give his clients the best of both worlds.
“Real estate is one industry that has really benefitted from emerging technologies,” he says.
“Buyers and sellers can use technology to give themselves a real edge in the market, and I intend to ensure Cole Residential embraces every available application that will ensure the best possible outcome for clients.”
Lucy Cole says she is thrilled to see Nick start his own enterprise, as she herself did so many years ago.
“Nick is a really wonderful salesperson,” Mrs Cole says.
“He is a true gentleman and incredibly personable, and he has an outstanding work ethic. He has been a real asset to the business, and will continue to be in this new venture. I see Cole Residential as very much complementary to Lucy Cole Prestige Properties, and I am really looking forward to this new chapter.”
A former TSS and Bond University graduate, Mr Cole has lived and worked all over the world but says the Gold Coast is a special place, particularly for real estate.
“Across all segments of the market, there are incredible properties on offer on the Gold Coast,” Mr Cole says.
“I’m looking forward to representing this diverse market through Cole Residential.”
