Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has re-listed his Fort Point penthouse, this time bundling it with the adjacent studio unit he used when he resided in the building.
The combined offering at 49 Melcher Street is priced at US$4,995,000 (A$7 million), up from the US$4,750,000 (A$6.65 million) asking price when the main penthouse was listed alone in 2024. That earlier listing didn’t sell and the property was rented out instead.
George Sarkis of The Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman, who holds the listing with colleague Roy Bahnam, called the property “the MVP of townhouses,” according to Boston.com.
“The open concept, the feel of it, the brick and beam – to see this at about a 3,000-square-foot scale is very hard to come by,” George said.
The building houses Mooo…. Seaport, a popular restaurant that Jaylen made good use of during his residency. Residents have their own exclusive entrance to the ground-floor venue.
“Having one of Boston’s steakhouses in the building is a big bonus.”

“He would go in there and have dinner, have friends over,” George said.
“It was close to everything, but far enough away.”
The two units sit at the top of Necco Landing, a historic former textile factory built in 1910 by the Boston Wharf Company.
The industrial character is intact throughout – teal-framed oversized factory windows, exposed brick walls, and 12-foot ceilings with original wood beams.

The main penthouse spans approximately 3,000 square feet across four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.
The open-plan great room combines living and dining spaces and includes a billiard table. The kitchen features a Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, and an eat-in island that seats five.

The primary suite includes dual walk-in closets and a charcoal grey-tiled bathroom with a terrazzo-clad shower.

An elevator-accessible entry foyer leads to a spiral staircase and a 400-square-foot roof deck with city views.

The adjacent studio, which is approximately 350 square feet, has its own full kitchen, living and dining area, and bathroom.
While the two units cannot be structurally adjoined, they sit side by side on the top floor, making the studio ideal for guests or a home office.

The listing comes as Jaylen’s name has been connected to trade rumours, adding intrigue to the timing of his Boston property hitting the market. The full listing can be viewed at sarkisboston.com.
