More than 100 of McGrathโs business leaders, executives and franchisees gathered together in Melbourne this week for the companyโs annual Leadership Forum, held over two days.
The companyโs largest leadership forum to date was led by McGrath Founder and Executive Director John McGrath and recently appointed CEO Geoff Lucas. Chair of the McGrath Board Peter Lewis joined Mr McGrath and Mr Lucas as they addressed the future growth and success of the company, while thanking those in attendance for their energy, passion and loyalty.
Itโs incredibly important for our leadership group to be here in the one place, sharing ideas, insights and knowledge. With a fresh plan in place and exciting changes at the leadership level, we are now in a position to reset the business and maximise our success for the future,โ said Mr McGrath.
Many of the companyโs longest-standing leaders were in attendance including Foundation Principals Jaimie Woodcock (McGrath Central Coast group), Dean Mackie (McGrath Lower North Shore group), David Mills (McGrath Northern Rivers group), and Kieran Bresnahan and Matt King (McGrath St George group).
23-year McGrath veteran and General Manager of Company Owned Sales Adrian Bo, who was also in attendance, said โThe McGrath leadership conference has provided a great opportunity for our franchise partners and company owned leadership team to come together. There have been terrific insights and sharing amongst the network and our colleagues throughout NSW, ACT, Victoria and Queensland. The conference has provided an invaluable opportunity to pause from working โin the businessโ, and to reflect โon the businessโ and seek opportunities for growth and evolution,โ said Mr Bo.
The forum featured an inspiring line-up of 17 speakers including REA Chairman Hamish McLennan, author Cyril Peupion and marketing and advertising expert Penny Burke. Further highlights included an all-female panel of speakers who shared their personal success stories and industry insights.
The company, which currently has 95 offices throughout the East Coast of Australia, is celebrating 30 years since first opening its doors in Sydney in 1988.
