McGrath expands into Brisbane’s north

An accomplished team of 10 will be led by principals Alex Porter and Claire McGrath. Tamika Kent, a top-producing high-performing agent, joins them in the role of sales manager.

McGrath Estate Agents has further consolidated its presence in the important Brisbane real estate market with the opening of a new office in the northern suburb of Aspley. It brings the number of McGrath offices in Brisbane to seven.

McGrath Aspley will focus on key suburbs surrounding Aspley including Carseldine in the north to McDowall in the south and from Bridgeman Downs in the west to Geebung in the east.

She has developed a suite of first-class systems and processes and is currently running an EBU (effective business unit) to streamline her business activities.

As co-principal, Claire McGrath will focus on her expertise in the development of high-performing teams as well as the acquisition and expansion of the property management business. In her 16-year career, Mrs McGrath has opened and managed real estate agencies in Australia as well as the United Kingdom.

The McGrath Aspley team’s property transactions average just 14 days on-market underscoring its depth of market knowledge and combined experience.

Aspley’s house prices have risen to a median of $955,000, up 29.1 per cent over the past year*. Sales manager Tamika Kent says the market has pulled back a little with fewer numbers of buyers ready to transact. “Many are not making offers at the level they were at the peak of the market however properties are still selling and sentiment is settling. There’s more choice for buyers now; and as a result, we’re starting to see more people enter the market.”

Ms Kent, who has 10 years in the industry running leading real estate offices, says regardless of market conditions, service is the one thing the McGrath Aspley team can control to deliver results to their clients. “We are confident that McGrath’s training, technology, systems and processes will help us reach the next level of service.”
