McGrath Estate Agents has announced the appointment of Michael Murray as Head of Company Sales for the group.
Mr Murray’s role will include a mandate to grow overall agent numbers, productivity, and market share.
McGrath CEO Eddie Law said he was excited to welcome Mr Murray to the new role.
“I am delighted that Mike has accepted this strategic appointment to lead our high-performing sales team across our company-owned offices in NSW and Queensland,” Mr Law said.
“Mike is well known and respected throughout the real estate industry and we believe that McGrath will benefit significantly from his broad sales and leadership experience.”
Mr Murray joined McGrath in 2016 as Sales Manager for one of their fastest growing areas – Sydney’s Northern Districts and Hills region – and in 2018 was named the company’s Sales Manager of the Year.
He moved into the role of acting Head of Sales in late 2019, successfully navigating the sales team through the COVID-19 pandemic, working alongside its founder, John McGrath.
“While our existing agents will continue to benefit from his depth of industry knowledge, coaching and overall leadership skills, I have no doubt that Mike will prove to be a significant drawcard in the recruitment of additional top-performing agents and sales teams to our company,” Mr Law added.
Mr Murray said his immediate focus would be on agent recruitment and the professional development for the expanding sales team.

“Over the past 12 months we have honed our technology even further and will continue to focus on training and coaching of our teams so that they are well-equipped to provide the outstanding customer service that McGrath is known for.
