Luxury Hayman residences to offer the complete lifestyle – or rental

International travel may have been limited in 2020, but that hasn’t stopped the demand for a slice of paradise in the Whitsundays.

And now Mulpha Australia, owner of the iconic InterContinental Hayman Island Resort are taking advantage of the ‘holiday at home’ trend by releasing a limited number of ultra-luxury villas in the tropical surrounds of Hayman Island on the Great Barrier Reef.

Designed to deliver the ultimate extended escape for residents, Hayman Estates will bring to the market 15 elite private villas offering spectacular views of the Whitsundays combined with Hayman’s famed resort lifestyle.

But owners will have the option for private exclusive use or the option of adding their property to the luxury hotel pool for domestic and international guests seeking a private retreat with all resort services.

The release comes on the heels of the spectacular $150 million refurbishment of InterContinental Hayman Island Resort and its recent recognition as Australia’s best resort in the annual HM Awards.

The villas are said to offer complete privacy and stunning views of Whitsunday waterways all within easy walking distance of the Hayman InterContinental resort, restaurants, pool, health spa, gymnasium, leisure and marina facilities.

“The Whitsunday region and the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef offers an unmatched lifestyle with direct airline access to the major Australian east coast capital cities, making it ideal for people to use as either a residential base or a holiday investment property,” said Mulpha GM of Sales and Development, John Hughes.

“It’s your own slice of paradise set in one of the most sought-after leisure destinations in the World.

“This is privacy at its best or simply a luxurious resort living at its best.”

Hayman is expected to benefit from solid domestic market demand and a strong resurgence in international demand for luxury Australian resorts once international travel resumes.

The villas include fully appointed kitchens, dual living areas and private swimming pools.

There is also a private courtyard, spa bath, and an oversized garage where you can house the golf buggy.

Villa residents and their guests can enjoy a full suite of resort services, including concierge and housekeeping, access to chefs, wait staff and babysitters, in addition to the resort’s restaurants, health spa, pool, gymnasium and recreational activities.

Construction of the first villas is expected to commence in March 2021.
