LJ Hooker pioneers app for kids

LJ Hooker has announced a new industry digital innovation with the launch today of its entertaining, educational and interactive kids app and dedicated kids website.

The app, Mr Hooker Bear’s Letter Pop, has been designed to entertain kids while LJ Hooker real estate professionals engage with parents to discuss their real estate needs.

Georg Chmiel, CEO of LJ Hooker, said that for generations kids have grown up knowing, and loving, LJ Hooker – from ‘Thank you, Mr Hooker’ to ‘Nobody Does it Better’ – and now, in a rapidly growing mobile era, the kids app, Mr Hooker Bear’s Letter Pop, is destined to join the group’s family-friendly innovations.

The Mr Hooker Bear’s Letter Pop takes kids on a journey across three key environments – city, beach and country – and helps them with word play, spelling, hand/eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and time management.

A player needs to find letters, create words and flip around animated obstacles on screen to progress through the three levels so they can complete the Letter Pop challenge. If they make mistakes, they won’t progress through the levels and need to start the game again.

Mr Chmiel hailed the app as another example of how LJ Hooker is leading the real estate industry via digital innovation and a clever marketing initiative while also successfully building a positive relationship with the next generation of Australian real estate buyers and sellers.

“Children attending open for inspections and marketing appraisals with their parents can now have fun with an element of practical learning as app as they catch letters, build words, watch the clock and engage in time management.”

The Mr Hooker Bear’s Letter Pop app is available free on iPads and iPhones via the App Store and androids via Google Play as well as the web version on the kids’ brand new interactive and educational website www.kids.ljhooker.com.au.
