LJ Hooker Cleveland offers up Mitsubishi Mirage in spring campaign

This spring, LJ Hooker Cleveland is offering property owners the chance to win a brand-new Mitsubishi Mirage valued at almost $20,000.

Every sales or rental listing undertaken by LJ Hooker Cleveland between 1 September and 30 November will go into the draw to win the car from Bartons Mitsubishi Capalaba.

The draw will take place at Bartons Mitsubishi Capalaba in December, just in time for Christmas.

The competition is to support the area’s real estate market following the challenges posed by COVID-19 and during what is expected to be a busy spring season.

LJ Hooker Cleveland managing director Iain Carmichael said it’s the right time to get back to business and open new doors, while also lending a hand to the community.

“We felt that with so many people confined to their homes during lockdown, many might be now considering a move after determining they want to upsize or downsize or find a new environment to support a ‘work from home’ life,” he said.

“The market to date has been stronger than what some might have expected given COVID-19. Buyer numbers are strong, and with slightly lower stock than usual driving competition, the state of the market is healthy.

“We have a positive outlook for spring. Buyer numbers have remained high and we are starting to see listing numbers return to normal levels indicating that market confidence is returning

“In August, our team listed just under 60 properties and recorded our largest month in seven years for settlements. This month, we are aiming to list 70 properties for sale.

“For us at LJ Hooker Cleveland, the market for homes valued at more than $1,000,000 is the best we have seen for a number of years.

“Interestingly, we are fielding more than usual inquiries from southern states looking to make the move to Queensland; so, we expect this to be an emerging trend in the coming months.”

LJ Hooker Cleveland currently has 26 sales agents, supported by a team of 10 direct support staff.

“To complement the consumer competition, agents are also in with a chance to win cash prizes,” Mr Carmichael said.

“Both the car competition and our internal incentives are to give our agents a competitive advantage and support them in having a strong finish to what’s been a challenging year.”

LJ Hooker Cleveland’s car giveaway complements the national network’s overarching spring campaign, which is offering homeowners the chance to win one of seven $2500 renovation vouchers by receiving a free property appraisal from any LJ Hooker agent.
