The LJ Hooker Group has appointed respected industry leader Campbell Dunoon as Head of Network – New Zealand for its LJ Hooker and Harveys network of offices.ย ย
Mr Dunoon said he was excited about the vision and ambition of the LJ Hooker Group and looked forward to supporting business owners and their teams.ย ย
โThis role presents a remarkable opportunity to apply my years of experience in strategic real estate growth and distribution, he said.
“It’s a chance to shape the future of LJ Hooker and Harveys, two strong brands with immense potential.”ย
Mr Dunoon said he was attracted to the role because of the potential growth ahead in the Auckland market.
โThere is significant growth potential in Auckland, with sales volumes expected to increase by up to 20 per cent next year, and new, untapped regional areas to service tourist and holiday destinations,โ Mr Dunoon said.
โI look forward to contributing to our success in these exciting markets.”
Mr Dunoon has joined the network after 10 years at Barfoot & Thompson and, before that, at Harcourts and Bayleys, where he had a strong track record in business development and delivering best practice.
LJ Hooker Group Chief Executive Officer Christine Mikhael said Mr Dunoon was known for his customer focus and his broad and deep understanding of the industry, business development and operations to maximise productivity, profitability and success.ย
At Barfoot, Mr Dunoon led an extensive team of real estate specialists and managed up to 9000 auction and tender transactions per year.ย
โCampbell knows what it takes to create a business that attracts high performers and services a large volume of clients, which resonates strongly with our network,โ Ms Mikhael said.
โFor our business owners, he will be providing ongoing strategic and business planning support so they can achieve their growth ambitions and accelerate their success.
โHeโll also be responsible for the growth of our networks across the country by identifying offices that would thrive with our franchise offer and new markets for LJ Hooker and Harveys to enter.โ
The appointment follows the promotion of Allaine Burkett to Head of Operations for New Zealand, who has been part of the team for five years, in a role that has provided a pathway for her to define operational excellence and exceptional customer experiences.ย ย
Ms Mikhael said the leadership changes in the group would strengthen LJ Hooker and Harveys in New Zealand.ย ย
“Campbell, Allaine and everyone in the local team works closely with their Australian counterparts, creating a strong alliance, shared ambitions, and, ultimately, delivering greater value for all,” she said.
โOur offices are in growth mode, and market conditions have continued to improve in New Zealand.
“Iโm looking forward to our future and what that will bring.โย
