FOUNDIT has appointed George Goldsworthy as a Partner, strengthening the platform’s presence across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs as buyers face increasing competition for a limited pool of quality property.
George brings eight years of experience representing buyers across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, from Elizabeth Bay and Darling Point through Double Bay, Rose Bay and Vaucluse, to the coastal markets of Bondi, Bronte, Clovelly and Coogee and all suburbs in between.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Commercial Law, a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and an MBA.
George has spent her entire real estate career on the buyer side of the transaction. Every negotiation, strategy and recommendation she has made has been on behalf of a buyer, giving her clients absolute clarity around whose interests are being represented at the table.
That focus, combined with long-standing relationships across the Eastern Suburbs agent network, gives her clients visibility of pre-market and off-market opportunities that may never reach a public campaign.
Her approach also places a strong emphasis on due diligence. George works closely with trusted building and pest inspectors, alongside other specialists where required, to identify potential issues before a client commits to a property.
FOUNDIT founder Angus Ferguson said the appointment brings a rare combination of specialisation, experience and reputation to one of Australia’s most competitive property markets.
“George has built her practice largely through referrals and repeat clients, which speaks volumes about the relationships she builds and the results she delivers,” Angus said.
“She has spent eight years representing buyers exclusively in a market where relationships can determine what you get to see and how early you get to see it. Her clients come back, and they refer their friends and families.
“Combining that local network and experience with FOUNDIT’s research, technology and national platform creates a compelling advantage for Eastern Suburbs buyers.”

At FOUNDIT, George will manage acquisitions from beginning to end, including brief and strategy, sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, exchange, pre-settlement inspection and settlement, for owner-occupiers, investors and developers.
“One of the biggest mistakes buyers can make is relying too heavily on advertised prices,” George said.
“An asking price forms part of a marketing campaign. My role is to look beyond that and assess a property using genuine comparable sales, current buyer demand and the fundamentals of the asset.
“That also means being prepared to tell a client when I don’t believe a property represents value, even if it’s not the answer they were hoping for.”
She added: “Sometimes the best advice I can give a client is not to buy. Finding the right property has always mattered more to me than simply completing a transaction.”
Beyond the fundamentals of aspect, position, street noise, floorplan and future potential, George also considers what she describes as a property’s “X factor”. She says this is the combination of qualities that determine whether a client will genuinely enjoy living there every day.
It might be an easier school run, the ability to walk to a favourite beach or café, or a street and position that will remain desirable in a decade’s time. These are often the same qualities that underpin buyer demand and support long-term value.
Discretion is also central to the way George works. She personally manages enquiries and inspections, involving clients once a property has been properly assessed and shortlisted. It is an approach particularly valued by her predominantly owner-occupier client base, many of whom are repeat or referred clients.
FOUNDIT connects property buyers with experienced, buyer-focused agents supported by proprietary technology and a national research and operations capability. The platform is designed to enhance transparency, streamline reporting and give buyers greater access, insight and confidence throughout the acquisition process.
George’s appointment forms part of FOUNDIT’s continued expansion across key Australian markets, with the platform investing in experienced local buyer representation supported by national research, operations and technology.
