Attracted to the team culture and business values, well regarded local Menai agent Lene Mitchell has joined the Ray White team.
After nearly ten years of owning and operating her own real estate business, Lene brings with her extensive experience across both sales and property management.
โI really respect Matt and Gavin and what theyโve built – theyโve got a great name out in the marketplace, the team gels really well together and theyโve built a fantastic business. Iโm so excited to be joining the team,โ Mitchell said.
An agent who genuinely loves helping people, for Lene real estate is so much more than a job.
โIn our industry, the job is about more than just selling real estate. Itโs about helping people take their next path in life. To my clients, I am much more than an agent. Iโm on the journey with them and I would love to spend the rest of my life changing the perception of real estate agents – weโre not the bad guys so many paint us to be,โ she said.
According to Lene, the Menai market in the last five years has grown, saying a lot of buyers are coming from the eastern side of the Shire and local demographics are getting older.

โIโve started selling more and more houses for elderly clients who are moving intoย nursing homes. Weโre also seeing a lot of parents helping their adult children into the market. Weโve seen huge growth in recent years.”ย
Mitchell went on to say that, on average, thereโs a sale a day in the Menai postcode.
โAuction clearance rates sit around 85 per cent, weโre in a really strong market and itโs got a lot to do with the supply shortage. ย We donโt have a lot of development in Menai because of the restricting zoning which does not allow for major development. Homes in the area arenโt knock-down, theyโre still relatively young properties, so thereโs very little chance of overdevelopment in the area,โ Mitchell explained.
With a property already listed and three more coming up, Mitchell has hit the ground running at Ray White.
โI take a friendly approach to business, and Ray White fits in well with that. The branding, the office, the team – itโs all great and an environment one can really thrive in.โ
