Katy Perry gets out of Beverly Hills

Pop sensation Katy Perry has sold her last home in Beverly Hills, with the US$18 million sale of her Regency-style estate.

It comes after selling another home, mere steps away, for US$7.47 million in May 2021.

The Roar singer had originally bought that home in 2018 to use as a guesthouse when friends and relatives came to stay, according to realtor.com.

This time around, Perry sold the ivy-covered, Regency-style home she bought in 2017 for US$17.99 million, which means she will pretty much break even on the property.

Built in 1959, the five-bedroom mansion is located in a โ€œguarded celebrity enclaveโ€ and spans 504sq m of living space with designer decor throughout.

A sky-lit entry gallery welcomes you into the home, while a step-down living room with a fireplace is a cosy space to relax.

Other features include a French provincial-style kitchen with stone-topped island bench and a large butlerโ€™s pantry, a timber-panelled library and a lower level media room and a gym

The master suite includes a fireplace, double closets and an ensuite with a marble bathtub.

Thereโ€™s also a sparkling infinity pool, enough parking for dozens of cars, on-site security and sweeping, forested grounds with a grassy lawn and an outdoor dining terrace.ย

Perry, her partner Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy will likely now spend more time at the Montecito estate they bought in 2020 for US$14.2 million.
