Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Julia Michaels is expanding her already large property portfolio, having picked up an LA mansion in the San Fernando Valley community of Encino.
According to The Dirt, the Issues singer, paid US$5.5 million for the traditional Cape Cod-style home, which was built in 2017.
The estate sits on a half-acre black and stands out with its bright red door and soaring columns set against the white wooded structure.
Inside, there are six bedrooms and seven bathrooms spread across more than 550sq m of living space over two floors.
Throughout the expansive home there are dark hardwood floors, white wood-beam ceilings and designer light fixtures.
When guests enter the property, they are welcomed into a large double-height foyer that connects to a formal living room with a cosy fireplace.
The family room sits adjacent to a dining area with French doors opening out to a large terrace, while the kitchen is filled with a tile backsplash, two islands benches and top-of-the-range stainless steel appliances.
Meanwhile, the master retreat boasts a fireside sitting area, a private balcony, a walk-in closet, a spa with dual vanities, a makeup area, soaking tub and glass-encased shower.
There’s also a screening room with its very own wet bar along with space for a pool table.
If you need to get some work done, the mansion has its own office with a large balcony that sits above the two-car garage.
Outside, the grounds are covered in grass and also include a pool, spa, sundeck, a covered lounge area with a fireplace, a barbecue, a bar and firepit.
The 28-year-old musician also owns two other homes, including a 30-acre ranch in the hills of Tennessee and a property in the Toluca Lake area of Los Angeles.
