Investment expo to offer more than great ideas…

More than 6000 people are set to converge on the Sydney Showgrounds in late October for the 2019 Property Buyer & Investor Expo.

Slated for October 26 and 27, this year’s event is expected to reflect renewed market confidence and will feature five categories of exhibitors who provide a well-rounded picture of the investment landscape.

With exhibitors from the finance and banking sector, property investments, property services, home improvements, and the new category this year of share and income investments, the expo aims to give attendees access to specialised advice.

“We had great feedback from attendees in 2018 who wanted more on investment strategies with a global outlook,” exhibition director Mark Thomas explained.

“While our expo does cater to a property-centric crowd, many of these people also have self-managed super funds and are interested in more than property.”

This year the expo is aimed at offering each attendee a personalised journey with customised options.

“We have listened to our audience and tailored the event around these needs.  That’s why we attract the crowds we do,” Mr Thomas said.

Last year approximately 6000 people attended the event even though the property market was in downturn.  This year it is expected crowds will swell as buyers come back with renewed confidence, excited that prices are now more than 20-30 per cent cheaper in some areas.

The expo will offer attendees access to specialised advice, whether they’re buying a first home; are a skilled ‘flipper’; expanding an existing property portfolio, or venturing into a the world of managed investments through property syndicates and investments listed on the ASX and other major share markets including US, Japan, and Germany.

Keynote speakers at this year’s event include government representatives, property developers, global fund mangers, buyers agents and market commentators.

“As an exhibitor, we’re meeting all types of people…first home buyers, experienced investors, developers, commercial buyers, it’s a really broad spectrum of buyers and they’re all coming here to get as much knowledge as possible and to pick our brains,” property buyer, exhibitor and speaker, Rich Harvey noted.

Also on offer is a cash prize of $20,000 for one lucky investor, which will be drawn on Sunday, October 27.

Whatever their journey may be, the Property Buyer & Investor Expo has options designed to maximise ideas generation. For exhibitors it is also an opportunity to build thousands of relationships rapidly.

“We have invested heavily in technology with our new event app and lead gen technology for exhibitors,” Mr Thomas said.

“Exhibitors will be given access to their own pipeline through our Lead Gen App.  This app allows your sales team to scan leads straight into your pipeline, tag them as hot/warm/cool, give them a rating, and input notes.”
