Independent has rebranded their businesses, dropping ‘Property Group’ from the brand name to reflect a drive towards innovation.
According to Chief Experience Officer John Minns, the company’s new look represents the future.
“This rebrand is about updating the look and feel of Independent to be in line with how we are as a company โ innovative, friendly, relatable and approachable,” said Mr Minns.
โWe also recognise that the key to great customer experiences are our people, our technology and our
commitment to Canberra.”
“That means attracting and retaining, and growing great people in our company, and ensuring they have the best tools to do the job,” he said.
Along with the name change, Independent will integrate cloud-based technology to their service to provide powerful data analytics.
In the next nine months they also plan to introduce a virtual agent and 24/7 digital responsiveness to property marketing for all home sellers, prospective buyers and tenants.
According to Mr Minns, automation and functionality will be the key to delivering high quality services to customers.
โItโs about who weโre becoming. The modern feel of the logo and brand is reflective of how we are using,
and will continue to use, technology and innovation to better serve the people of Canberra,โ he said.
The company rebrand also coincides with a significant milestone for Independentโs Foundation, which reached the $1 million mark in donations to Canberra based charitable organisations.
Independentโs Business Solutions Manager Gary Butcher said the Foundation was established to give back to the community that has supported their business since 1958.
โThe Foundation strives to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged with many of our staff also volunteering their time to assist the not-for-profit organisations in Canberra,โ said Mr Butcher.
โWe have supported and worked with an expansive list of local charities over the past 10 years and weโre
very proud to have reached the million-dollar mark in donations.โ
