Independent joins Raine & Horne to tap Queensland population growth

A boom in property buyers and investors from Sydney and Melbourne has influenced an independent property firm in Brisbaneโ€™s Redland City region to switch to leading global network Raine & Horne.

โ€œQueensland’s population is projected to reach 5 million this month, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics,โ€ says Stephen Anderson, Co-Principal of Raine & Horne Birkdale, which launched this month.

Mr Anderson will be responsible for business administration at Raine & Horne Birkdale, while his business partners Marie Dodds will oversee property management, with Damian Dodds and JeanPierre De La Vega accountable for the sales operations.

โ€œMany of our stateโ€™s new arrivals hail from New South Wales and Victoria where Raine & Horne is a well-known brand.

โ€œWeโ€™ve also recognised that more southern state investors are seeking property in Birkdale, Redlands, and surrounding suburbs, which is driving up sales and property management activity.

โ€œWeโ€™re already smashing property management under the leadership of Marie Dodds. However, to help build our rent roll further, weโ€™ve decided to hitch ourselves to a major brand that has a great reputation with investors from the southern states.โ€
