Freaks and Geeks star Busy Philipps and her former husband, rom-com writer-director Marc Silverstein have put their Hudson Valley property on the market for US$1.75 million.
According to The Dirt, the famous pair paid US$1.6 million for the hideaway, which is spread across 43 acres outside New York City before splitting up sometime last year.
Hidden deep in the woods just outside the historic and charming location of Rhinecliff, the two-storey home boasts three bedrooms and three bathrooms in close to 390sq m of living space.
The home itself was built in the late 1970s by a local artist, with the homeโs funky, loft-like interior spaces including a hardwood-floored living room plenty large enough to accommodate several seating areas and a spacious, eat-in kitchen with a huge built-in breakfront for food and crockery.
While oversized windows provide plenty of natural light, sliding glass doors open to multiple patios and decks.
There are two full bathrooms on the main floor, one of them part of the oversized primary bedroom.
Outside on the rear porch, thereโs a multi-colour wood-block mural with a washer/dryer tucked up under a floating staircase.
There are also huge areas of rolling lawn surrounded by dense woodlands, where thereโs plenty of room to roam and commune with nature in complete privacy.
The property also boasts a number of outbuildings including a storage shed and an antique barn all adding to the rustic charm.
