Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate expands to Victoria

The footprint for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate continued to grow with the opening of the first Victorian office in Richmond.

With several offices already operating in New South Wales, the lifestyle brand is now focusing on its presence in strategic locations across the east coast of Australia.

The new Richmond office will be operated by Michael and Laurel Sloan who have worked together for more than 20 years. Initially operating as mortgage brokers and property mentors, they then created The Successful Investor, a real estate business specialising in property investment sales.

“The time felt right for us to take our business to the next phase by joining the iconic Better Homes and Gardens brand which really resonates with us, our values and the way we service our customers,” Mr Sloan said.

“Our philosophy has always been a total commitment to looking after our clients, and to educate and inform them.”

It was this approach and a depth of experience that led Mr Sloan to become a real estate writer for the NAB website, and to his appointment to the panel of experts at The Association of Financial Advisors. Mr Sloan has also written a best-selling book titled The Formula to Successful Property Investing.

The office will provide residential sales and property management services in Richmond, inner city Melbourne and surrounding areas.

The property management offering will be spearheaded by Mrs Sloan, who has dedicated much of her time to be a valued mentor to many aspiring property owners. She has a particular interest in helping single or single-again women plan for their future.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate CEO Michelle Delaney said they were pleased not only to open their first Victorian office, but to do this with people whose values are aligned with their brand.

“Michael and Laurel have already proven they can succeed in real estate and I am confident our marketing, training and technology will contribute to their success as a BHGRE office,” Ms Delaney said.

“We’re making really strong traction with regards to growing the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network. We now have a number of new offices operating, have already sold our first property under the brand, and still have a long pipeline of people interested in starting a franchise with us.”
