Anna Kendrick, who has appeared in films including Pitch Perfect, Twilight, and A Simple Favour, has taken on the new role of landlord with her Beechwood Canyon rental offering.
Kendrick, who owns several homes in Los Angeles, purchased the property for US$1 million about 11 years ago and has since renovated it to include modern features such as oak floors, high ceilings, and built-ins.
She’s asking for US$12,950 per month, according to The Dirt.
The property sits on a tree-lined parcel in a secluded cul-de-sac and boasts three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and more than 250sq m of living space.
The open-concept main level features a spacious living room with a floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone fireplace and glass French doors leading to a covered deck, a dining area connected to the kitchen, and two ensuite bedrooms.
A curving wood staircase leads to the top floor, where a charcoal-hued master retreat is showcased, complete with a separate sitting room, walk-in closet, and spa-like bath.
The fenced backyard features an alfresco lounging and dining patio, while an oversized driveway leads to a two-car garage.
The property is being offered without furnishings, and the listing is held by Jack Graniti and Marc Burrows of Pacifica West Properties.
Kendrick also owns another vacant house on the same street, The Dirt reports.
Last year she splashed out US$7 million to buy the Hollywood Hills Estate owned by Muse Drummer, Dominic Howard.
The 455sq m residence boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms and includes panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills.
The mansion features imported French oak flooring, a powder room, a library/study with a bar and corner fireplace, a soundproof movie theatre and steel-trimmed glass ceiling-high doors.
The yard is equipped with a pool/spa combo, plus grassy patches of lawn, a fire pit and a flagstone patio that connects to a raised wooden deck with an outdoor kitchen and alfresco dining options.
