Actress Jaime King selling Walt Disney-built home in Beverly Hills

Fresh from her divorce from director Kyle Newman, actress Jamie King is moving on with her life, listing her longtime home in the mountains above Beverly Hills for US$2.8 million.

King, best known for her role as Southern belle Lemon Breeland on the CW series Hart of Dixie, paid US$1 million for the house in 2003.

The home was reportedly built by the late Walt Disney for his daughter back in 1960 according to The Dirt.

The mid-century, modern structure has had an extensive makeover throughout the years and sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.

There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 241sq m of living space with high ceilings and designer light fixtures throughout.

The living room includes a marble fireplace connected to a dining area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening to a bamboo-encased backyard hosting a firepit.

A galley-style kitchen is fitted with custom rose-hued concrete countertops, wood panelling and cabinetry, a handcrafted brass sink and high-end GE Café appliances.

While upstairs, the master retreat comes complete with a sitting area, separate fireside office or den and bespoke, mahogany walk-in closet, plus a skylit bathroom equipped with a soaking tub and shower combination.

There’s also a private downstairs ensuite bedroom for guests, plus a two-car attached garage.

King filed for divorce from her husband in May 2020 having been married for nearly 13 years, after meeting on the set of the movie Fanboys.
