Property management professionals will again take centre stage in Sydney this September, with PM/ONE 2026 returning to the Hilton Sydney on September 13–14 as the sector continues to navigate rising expectations, tighter operating conditions and growing complexity in day-to-day work.

Early bird tickets are now on sale at $795, with organisers expecting strong demand following last year’s debut, which was described as the largest independent property management conference on the calendar.

Founder Fiona Blayney said the event was created to give property managers a dedicated space within the industry, where their role is recognised as central to how real estate businesses operate, rather than secondary to sales or broader industry discussion.

“We created PM/ONE because the industry was calling for a space where property management could come together, with one focus, and  actually be centre stage,” Ms Blayney said.

Ms Blayney said property management remains central to the operation of agencies of all sizes, and in many cases is critical to their ongoing performance.

“Principals understand property management isn’t a sideline conversation. In many businesses, it is the main event and without it, those businesses would significantly suffer,” she said.

For 2026, the focus is on supporting property managers through a demanding period for the profession, with rising legislative complexity, evolving client expectations and ongoing operational change.

The conference is designed to be inclusive of all agency models and sizes, from small independent businesses through to large-scale operations, with an emphasis on shared challenges and practical solutions.

PM/ONE 2026 will bring together property management professionals alongside speakers from outside the real estate sector to challenge thinking and share approaches that can be applied in practice.

“Our program features effective PM Professionals , along with outside business and human experts who will challenge how we think.”

Topics will span artificial intelligence, human value, sustainable business, practical efficiencies, rent roll growth, customer experience, relationships and conflict, leadership, personal wellness, , technology, with a focus on how these areas can improve service delivery, client relationships, operational performance and team engagement

Ms Blayney said the aim is to strike a balance between strong operational fundamentals and fresh thinking drawn from both within and outside the industry.

“It’s about what’s working, what can be applied more broadly, and making sure we don’t lose sight of the fundamentals that still matter,” she said.

“The future of property management will not be shaped by doing more of the same. At PM/ONE, we are bringing together strong industry practice with ideas from in and outside our sector that can challenge thinking, broaden perspective and improve the way we lead, operate and deliver service” .

While staying grounded in the fundamentals, whilst being open to the thinking that helps us do it better.

Ms Blayney confirmed that technology, including AI and automation, will feature within the broader discussion, with a focus on how these tools and systems can support better outcomes for property managers and their clients.

Returning MC Dominic Thurbon will again feature at the event, drawing on themes from his newly released book To Be Honest, guiding discussions on how integrity is applied in practice and in decision-making within complex stakeholder environments.

“We’ll be talking about honesty and how important it is, even when people don’t always want to hear it,” Ms Blayney said.

The full speaker line-up is to be announced soon. Early bird tickets are available now via the PM/ONE website at $795 until 30 June.
