Western offices shine at hockingstuart awards

Leading Victorian real estate agency, hockingstuart, celebrated another stellar year at their 2018 awards night on Thursday 23rd August.

The annual ceremony held at Forum Theatre, celebrates the achievements of employees and
offices over the past financial year, with sales growth, market share and customer service all
propelling agents to the awards stage.

Offices in Melbourne’s west proved to be the biggest winners on the night, with representatives
from Sunshine to Ballarat taking home 10 of the awards, including Sales Rookie of the Year for
Jesse Singh of Melton and Novice Auctioneer of the Year for Samuel Hogan of Sunshine.

Senior Sales Agent Samantha McCarthy of hockingstuart Werribee was named Sales Agent of the
Year for the second year running, as well as taking home awards for the highest number of
properties sold and gross commission made. She continued to go from strength to strength over
the past year, demonstrating a wealth of knowledge and a passion for her local area that inspired
potential residents to make Werribee their home.

In the opposite direction, hockingstuart Rosebud was recognised for their outstanding
achievements over the past year, including sales growth, market share, staff engagement and
customer service. The office took home Sales Director of the Year for Grant McConnell, the
Highest Performing Sales Office for Gross Commission, and the coveted Franchise of the Year award.

Property management teams were also awarded, with Frankston and Preston taking out the
awards for Most Improved Property Management Office for Gross Commission and Properties
Managed respectively, while St Kilda were recognised as Property Management Office of the Year.
hockingstuart CEO Simon Jovanovic said he was impressed with the current crop of rising talent
and the determination of local offices to deliver exceptional customer service outcomes.

“Recent property trends have seen a renewed interest in outer and regional suburbs such as
Ballarat and Werribee, so it is fantastic to see our local offices rise to the occasion with gusto,”
said Mr Jovanovic.

“The continued growth of the hockingstuart brand is truly a testament to the hard work and
dedication of our agents. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings.”
