Top agent Nicole Carter joins McGrath Surfers Paradise

McGrath Estate Agents has announced that top local agent Nicole Carter will join its McGrath Surfers Paradise team.

Commenting on the the star recruitment, McGrath Queensland State Manager Justin Marsden said he was thrilled to welcome Nicole to spearhead the team.

“Nicole has an outstanding track record for sales on the Gold Coast, especially in Reedy Creek and the surrounding areas,” Mr Marsden said.

“She will be a great asset to the team servicing the area from Paradise Point/Broadwater, the Central Gold Coast and out to the hinterland.

“Nicole has successfully immersed herself in her local area where she is an incredibly active resident but also is highly regarded in the wider community,” Mr Marsden added.

Commenting on the local market, Ms Carter said families and young couples with children were definitely the most active in the Reedy Creek area as they were attracted to being in close proximity to school zones as well as the newness of the homes on offer such as those available in The Observatory at Reedy Creek.

“Since the election, we are seeing renewed interest and buyer activity,” Ms Carter said.

“For the first time in six months, they appear to be making a decision to purchase, whereas prior to that they were sitting on their hands. I’d say the hottest price point in this current market is in the range of $800,000 to $1 million.”

In just 13 years, Ms Carter, who established RE/MAX in Robina, has firmly entrenched herself in the industry, ranking in the Top 30 of RE/MAX agents and as an inductee into their International Hall of Fame.

In 2017, Ms Carter achieved one of the highest sales price for a home for the area – $1.66 million for 28 Culgoora Crescent, Reedy Creek.

Most recently in 2019 she sold 8 Horizon Place, Reedy Creek for $1,050,000; 6 Parkes Court for $855,000 in a space of one day; and 14 Culgoora Crescent for $845,000.

Ms Carter describes her approach to real estate as “enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking” and said she was attracted to McGrath as their business values strongly aligned with her own.

“It was time for a change. I wanted to further grow my career and the opportunity to be associated with a premium brand such as McGrath is very exciting not only to me, but I feel will be advantageous to my client base as well.”
