Survivor championโ€™s award-winning Paddington home hits the market

A luxurious six-bedroom Paddington home owned by memory coach and former Survivor contestant Anastasia Woolmer is now for sale as the family prepares to downsize.

The award-winning property at 15 Bellavista Terrace features dual living areas with separate kitchens and ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom, creating what Anastasia Woolmer describes as a resort-like living experience.

The home won the 2015 Master Builders Brisbane Housing & Construction Award for renovation on a sloping block.

Woolmer, who competed on Survivor’s Champions Team in 2019 and holds several memory records, purchased the property when her three children were in high school to provide more space for the growing family.

“It was a way for us to give the kids space while still being there when needed,” Ms Woolmer said.

“We liked that everyone had their own bathroom, and the bedrooms are not big, they’re huge!”

The property’s design facilitates both family togetherness and independence, with generous individual spaces complemented by communal areas.

The downstairs living area proved particularly valuable for the family’s teenagers.

“The kids had some really wonderful events in the downstairs living room with the big television. They could have their friends over and their own space, but we were still around to make sure everything was above board,” Ms Woolmer said.

Ray White Paddington agent Judi O’Dea, who has listed the property, highlighted its versatility for different living arrangements.

She said the home’s design effectively creates two separate residences under one roof.

“It’s almost like two separate residences and is a fabulous house for intergenerational living. Or, you could live on the top level and rent out the bottom level,” Ms O’Dea said.

Among the property’s standout features is the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor cooking spaces.

The upstairs kitchen extends to an outdoor kitchen, creating an expansive culinary area with views.

“I loved the upstairs kitchen and the way it connects to the outdoor kitchen in one long line,” Ms Woolmer said.

“You can cook something on the stove and something on the outdoor wok. It’s like having one huge kitchen.”

The home’s wellness amenities further enhance its resort-like atmosphere.

A professional-grade home gym containing more than $30,000 worth of equipment sits alongside the swimming pool, creating a comprehensive fitness centre within the residence.

Woolmer, a former professional ballet dancer, particularly valued these features.

“We could go to the gym and then jump in the pool. It really felt like being at a resort,” she said.

O’Dea said that such wellness-focused amenities are increasingly sought after by today’s homebuyers who prioritise lifestyle integration within their residences.

“When we talk about lifestyle, we want lifestyle within our houses. These days movie rooms seem less important to people than gyms and pools. People want that lifestyle,” she said.
